App Sales Exec 3 (PCG)

The Mobility Applications Consultants work closely with account managers to proactively identify, close and deliver wireless data solutions with particular emphasis in the customer's lines of business.
  • Manage the module or territory to drive solution penetration rates in line with stated standards.
  • Apply the wireless data line of business sales framework within the context of the segment/module supported by the Mobility Applications Consultant, and ensure this framework is executed by the front line account manager. Proactively lead the customer through the solution process by leveraging the base of value proposition, case study, work flow, ROI, and Pilot Framework tools. Drive the sales engagement from identification of business value through creation and implementation of the technical solution.
  • In collaboration with assigned Account Managers, develop plans to optimize wireless data sales in territory by proactively prioritizing targeted accounts or solutions.
  • Position self as the wireless data solutions Subject Matter Expert (SME) in territory.
  • Proactively participate in account and opportunity reviews.
  • Drive knowledge transfer to the local sales and customers on new wireless data solutions.
  • Establish a trusted partner relationship with "C" level customer executives.
  • Employ advanced and consultative selling techniques to achieve wireless data unit and revenue targets.
  • Build alliances, both internal and external, and execute programs across functional organizations to successfully implement wireless data solutions.
  • Deploy appropriate sales and support resources to respective accounts to achieve the most cost-effective fulfillment options.
  • Develop, document and share best practices for selling wireless data solutions.
  • Serve as the data lead on responses to RFX's and unsolicited proposals.
  • Stay current and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of complex data products, solutions and pricing.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of key business and profit drivers for customers and identify solutions which complement their business objectives.
  • Utilize sales automation tools as appropriate.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 5-7 years experience with demonstrated success in technology, applications and solutions sales.
  • Proven quota achievement acting in a National Account, Strategic, and/or Solution sales role.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge to others.
  • Well organized with attention to detail.
  • Passion for winning.
  • Ability to comfortably interact with senior leadership, customer executives and frontline employees.
  • Presents professional image of self and Company.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a technical product or service.
  • Effectively sell in complex environments with lengthy sales cycles.
  • History of success in consultative/applications selling to enterprise accounts.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing industry and work environment.
  • Versatile relationship skills in order to maintain strong bonds with people from a variety of backgrounds including technical, legal, marketing, product development, project management and sales.
  • Excellent organizational skills which provide the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment and insurance is required.
